Embedded hiring & RPO for Japanese-speaking talent

Hiring Japanese speakers, worldwide.

We work inside your HR team as your recruiters, and we are strongest where hiring is usually lost: giving Japanese-speaking candidates a reason to choose you.

Unlike an agency matching many companies with many candidates, we work for you alone.

The challenge

Finding them is hard. Winning them is harder.

In any market there are only so many people who work fluently in Japanese, and almost all of them are employed and already hearing from other companies. More sourcing will not close that gap. What moves a candidate is a specific reason to join you — and that reason has to exist before the first message goes out.

Selection & Attraction

Assess. And attract.

Every hire is two matches: your requirements against a candidate's experience, and a candidate's priorities against what you offer. With Japanese-speaking talent, the second match is usually what decides it.

WHAT WE WANTYour requirements

WHAT WE HAVEWhat you offer

WHAT THEY WANTWhat they're looking for

WHAT THEY HAVETheir skills and experience

SELECTIONAssessDo candidates have what you're looking for?

ATTRACTIONAttractDo you offer what candidates are looking for?

Most teams only run the first.

Selection is well covered: structured interviews, scorecards, calibrated panels. Attraction gets talked about and rarely gets a system behind it, which is why strong companies still lose candidates they should have won.

That is the part we have built a method for.

See the Attraction Table

Our Method

The Attraction Table

Decide why a Japanese speaker should choose you — before you contact the first one.

The Attraction Table is our own method. It takes what is true about your company, backs it with evidence, and translates it into what a candidate personally gains. We then write it in Japanese, so none of it is lost on the way.

01FEATUREWhat sets you apart 02EVIDENCEProof and examples 03BENEFITWhat candidates gain
A large, established company
  • X,000 employees
  • Revenue of X billion
  • Top X in the industry by market cap
  • Work on projects with large budgets
  • Gain experience at the front of the industry
  • Stable employment and promotion prospects
  • A well-known name that reassures family
Example

Turn company strengths into candidate benefits.

The strengths in your sales deck become reasons to work for you once they are told from the candidate's point of view. “We're a large company,” for example, becomes “you'll work on large-budget projects” and “your job and career path are stable.”

    What sets you apart

Your business, roles, team and ways of working. We identify what makes your company distinctive.

  2. 02

    EVIDENCE

    Proof and examples

We back each feature with facts and real stories. Specifics are what make it believable.

    What candidates gainMost important

What each feature means for the candidate personally, from career and work to life outside work, framed around how they make decisions.

Build it once. Use it at every step.

Outreach, interviews, the way an offer is presented: all of it draws on the same reasons to choose you. Your hiring managers, your recruiters and we ourselves tell the same story, in English or in Japanese.

Our Goal

By the time you make the offer, they've already said yes.

Every candidate you want to hire has decided to join by the day the offer arrives. That is the state we work toward. During the process, we connect what each candidate is looking for with what you can offer, so the offer only confirms a decision they have already made.

Results

Strongest, by far, at the first reply and the final yes.

We find Japanese speakers wherever they live and write to them in Japanese, in a way that gets read and answered.

  • Employer branding & EVP

With the Attraction Table, we set out why a candidate should choose you, for this market and this role.

  • Hiring strategy

Who to go after, where they are, what to say first, and what a realistic timeline looks like.

  • Interview process & interviewer coaching

We tune the process, and coach your interviewers, so the appeal survives every stage of the loop.
